About Background Remover

Background Remover erases the background of a photo and gives you a transparent PNG for free. Everything runs inside your browser.

How we build it

• No sign-up, no install — it works the moment the page loads.
• Everything is calculated in your browser. We don’t collect what you type.
• Designed for phones first, and fully usable with a keyboard.
• Ads keep it free, but we never place them right next to buttons or inputs.

Who runs it

Background Remover is built and run by a small team. Found a wrong result or something annoying? Tell us and we’ll fix it.
